This year’s InnoVEX, featured a record high of 467 startups from 24 countries, a growth of 20% from last year.
InnoVEX foreign startups were seeking collaborations with strategic local partners in Taiwan, as Taiwan offers an advantageous environment in both established sectors such as manufacturing and ICT, and emerging sectors such as IoT and AI.
Outstanding pavilions this year included, Korea, Holland, La French Tech, and Poland who displayed innovative startups with solutions and products in biomedical, wearables, industrial automation, fitness, education and more.
We were proud to partner with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, facilitating their delegation by sharing insights and information on how Taiwan can become a hub for launching their business in Asia.
Besides serving Heineken, the Holland pavilion was the most attractive and interactive. We enjoyed their startup gathering dinner with special guests including the mayor of Eindhoven, Mr. John Jorritsma.
The Korean pavilion, supported by Kotra and Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, displayed strong startups with hardware and software solutions in the fields of education, fitness, beauty and more. The Korean startups attracted the attention of Taiwanese local manufacturers who seek new innovative devices.
Anemone Ventures is a proud partner of the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation in Korea and has signed an MOU to further promote their activities in Taiwan.
