AmCham Taipei had the privilege to host Taiwan’s Ministry Science and Technology (MOST), Minister Liang-Gee Chen as a guest speaker during a luncheon on August 18, 2017. An event moderated by AmCham Technology Committee co-chair Revital Shpangental on the subject of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Taiwan: Asia Silicon Valley Project as Example Policy.”
Minister Chen addressed Taiwan’s efforts and policy to develop IoT technologies while building a complete innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem around the Asia Silicon Valley Development Plan. The plan will mainly focus on technologies related to IoT security, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence applications, self-driving vehicles, and mobile lifestyles.
